since i notice you can use jpg files in dc with no real altering needed here is a web site i have been downloading pictures from for years

http://www.elfwood.com/

if you have never been there it's has thousands of art gallerys you can view and download from. that are all uploaded by their members which number around 50,000 which should give you an idea of how much art is available

I've been a fan of Elfwood for years. ;D

It's a great place to look and see what other artists are doing.

...but if we come up with some DC art, where should we post it?

Not that I'd worry.
Some days it just doesn't pay to gnaw through the straps.

I'm just mad about this picture, nologgie. ;) I think this is properly the correct subforum, we can just start a new thread. :)

Or, because this place is so receptive to our needs, I bet we could ask for and get a DC art subforum...just a thought if there is interest.

I also fun a forum, which is where I post all of my 640x480 DC art...

Two good ideas!  ;D
Grabbing pix for DC is ridiculously easy compared to UA. Icons still kick my butt, however DC doesn't have the palette restrictions, so it's a little easier. (Concludes the sermon to the choir.) I think a sub-forum here would give those of us with no programming or scripting experience another way to contribute, and help keep it on the radar.
I've been a member of the Ironworks forum since July, but I'm not authorized to post yet. Maybe I'll have better luck with yours.  ;)

Well, I'll PM Ben and request a DC Art subforum

As for my forums, I get an email whenever sings up, so I'm on it in a flash if recognize the name and in a day or so if don't. :)

As for Ironworks, what name did you use? I can PM Ziroc and have him fix it for you.

I suspected as much, but I wanted to make sure. :D I'll PM him now...

By the way, there will be an art subforum here. :) (Thanks, Ben.)
