DC Portrait Maker
« on: April 21, 2015, 05:35:52 PM »
http://manikus.reonis.com/DC_portrait_maker/PortraitMaker.html

Use this in IE or Opera with no issues. To use in Chrome, you have to click on the black backdrop before anything shows up, but then it works fine - no idea why this is the case.
It appears not to work in Firefox, so yeah...

I will be adding more hair/hats in the not too distant future (turns out I forgot to update the flash drive). There are 30 bodies and 30 heads, with no plans ot add more for this portrait.

I plan on doing more of these, one female human, one elf, one dwarf. They'll each be there own thing, as I don't plan on making "elf hair" to go with a "dwarf beard" for example.

Use this however you want. Feel free to give me comments, critiques, suggestions, etc.

I didn't make this with the intention of people downloading and changing, but I'm not opposed to that. :) If you want to use my web page/style sheet as the basis for your own picture maker go eahd. If you are going to put something up online, please contact me before using any of my art, though.

It may or may not be significant, but your opening HTML tag is actually this:

Thank You, I might try working on something like this. Well done :D I am glad to see that it is working. Yesterday I have redownloaded Scrum and will try redownloading and installing others :) then will try to make some pics and try testing this http://www.sharecg.com/v/80533/browse/21/DAZ-Studio/Generic-DAZ-Studio-Smart%2B-PropGoto%2B-Release-3-BETA.

Here is what I have made with this tool.

That is really cool.

But what have you got against nipples?!  ;)

I use notepad ++ and it says that thml is a valid tag. :D Thanks, Ben.

Does this mean nipples are showing or that you want nipples to show? :D

All of the rendering took less than an hour. For some reason I didn't save the scene, but I could do another scene.

I was originally doing this as a Proof-of-Concept and it just got much bigger than I thought it would. :D

I thought the bare chest appeared not to have nipples. I am not requesting them.

Perhaps when shaving their chests, they shaved off a little too much... ;)

I actually did fix that this morning and will upload the now anatomically correct bodies in a little while.

Edit:

Bodies 10, 20 and 30 are now more anatomically correct. :D

Okay, this does work in Firefox, but like it does in Chrome. To use in Firefox, click on any item in each of the five rows, then it will show up and you can change as you would like.

Re-tested it and it works OK in firefox except for he "clear hair" and "clear accessory" which don't.
I'd really love to have a female version of this. If you have time to improve it, that would be a great addition.

I can do a female version. :)

I'm not going to try and make it compatible with this one, but I will have all the same backdrop options. :)

I'm super busy with my 3D testing these last couple of weeks, but may get a chance to do something in the next week or so.
