I'll find an example of the damage flaw, or I'll find it's my error. :) Either way, that will be tomorrow. I seem to recall that I saw either an orc, goblin or kobold doing 2d4+2 damage. or it might have been a human, but definitely 2d4+2.

I think I've got the spells and other issues dealt with, just waiting on clarification for this damage thing. Also, was the double step event problem I submitted a bug?

I haven't looked at any of the various mini-mods yet. My weekend starts after I leave here today. :)

I've got some free time right now - anything else I can work on for this conversion? I'm stalled out on the lizard man catacombs due to the double firing step event bug, and I'm waiting for feedback on the default damage field in the monsters.txt

Other than what I am doing, I have nothing.

I have not investivated why Ray's FRUA design had  more levels than the GB PoR - I don't know if he split up a level into two versions because there were so many events. That's all I got. :)

Yes, usually Ray will make multiple copies of an area, to use them when text or other limitations happen.

That seems reasonable. :) It does seem a little weird that PoR could have more text per level than FRUA. Just a little bit, though. :D

One step at a time. Here's a v5 of the monsters.txt, with damage fixed and spell items.

Wow, thanks for this, it looks really amazing. I will have to sort all sources first then I will give it a go.

It is impressive how close to the original the looks are. However, I think it is a wise decision not to invest too much time in completely re-creating games which can still be bought and played.

Your already done work should in any case be a great base for all who would like to do something in the direction of "new adventures in Phlan"... using DC abilities which FRUA might not have.

Something that I and others had thought about, was doing a faithful recreation, and then also releasing an all new art set to update all of new art. :D In my case, I came to this because I had been working on Secret of the Silver Blades and a sequel.  As time went on, I realized that while many of us are nostalgic for these games, there are quite a few FRUA mods that are better and if I was going to really put in a lotmore time, I should remake a better story. I also worked on this because the community voted Pool of Radiance as the one they would most like to see.

I will put together my resources for the Savage Frontier games and release those eventually as well.
