Hi. Sorry for the slow response. I have been able to use Frua98 in Windows 7 and Windows 10.

I have also used HackCKIT with success in Windows.

I also use Nol Drek's very useful MakeDiffTbl.jar, because UAShell fails to save changes to diff.tbl reliably (or, I think, at all), and that also runs in Windows.

I have also used a program called Midpack to create music files, and this too runs in Windows

The other programs that I have used with success, all running through DOSBox (either with or without UA Shell) are Backgrow, Dunggrow, Fontedit, Framedit, NAFN, NINEPING, IconEdit, Textedit, Str_Edit, UA256, UA Toolbox and Wildedit.

I also use UGE (for CKIT.EXE and SCRIPT.GLB editing) running through DOSBox.

Between all the above programs (with a lot of trial and error and backing up!) I have managed to achieve just about everything I think I can achieve in FRUA hacking.

I seem to recall that problems can potentially occur if you have your CKIT.EXE in some locations (like perhaps on Desktop or Program Files) so I always apply Frua98 and HackCKIT (and UGE, although I run UGE through DOSBox) to a separate "working" version of CKIT.EXE.

Hope that helps.

I would've added a scene to Thor: Ragnarok --something like this:

Hela sits on Odin's throne, Skurge alone is in the chamber with her.

Hela: Skurge, take off my boots.

Skurge obeys.

Hela: That's better.  Now, massage my feet while you're there.

Skurge begins to massage Hela's feet.

Hela:  Oh, my, yes!  That feels nice!  You're a god of many talents, Skurge.
          Why were you a janitor?
(She asks with some distaste.)

Skurge: I made a big mess.  The others were making me clean it up.

Hela:  Menial labor is beneath a god!  Lesser beings are meant for such duties.

Skurge:  Slaves...?

Hela:  Worshippers.

Skurge:  What if the lesser beings don't wish to worship us?

Hela:  Then they feel the wrath of the gods.  Such is the proper order of the universe.
We do it a disservice if we fail to fulfill our roles as gods.  Odin failed to see that.

Skurge:  May I ask a question?

Hela: If you wish

Skurge:  I don't mean to be presumptuous.  Forgive me if my question is in any way
             offensive to you.

Hela:  (Smiling) Now I insist you ask your question.

Skurge:  What made Odin change?

Hela:  Sacrifices.  When he learned that the humans were making human sacrifices
to him and other Asgardians, he was aghast.  "Innocent blood" he railed.  Bah!
As if there were such a thing!  The old fool!

--Such a scene would've further clarified Hela's worldview and therefore her motivation, while answering the question of why Odin abandoned his warlike ways.

I thought Jeff Goldblum's secondary villain, the Collector, was sublimely perfect.

One reason I enjoyed Thor:Ragnarok more than Justice League was the choice of the villain.

Cate Blanchett did a wonderful job as the villain Hela in Thor:Ragnarok. She had depth, motivation, an amazing look, she inhabited the character, and her threat level was just right for the movie.

Instead of choosing an iconic Justice League villain (such as Despero, Amazo, Vandal Savage or Darkseid) and giving the role to a competent actor, Justice League went with a C-list villain who I had never heard of before and made him an unrelatable CGI character with voice acting.

Thanks to Donnie Ewald, my homepage is up again at:

Thank you very much for your help! The subfolder solution is absolutely acceptable!

I have updated the links on my page and on the Help documentation page :D :D :D
Agreed.  Brutal Legend was awesome (played it maybe three or four years ago).  Only hiccup for me was the RTS stuff at the end which made that section of the game less fun than the rest...but even still, it was worth the ride.  Anyone who is on the fence should grab it.  It might surprise you.

Unfortunately, Justice League seriously underperformed in its opening weekend.  (I hate to think what lesson the bigwigs at WB will see in this, when their own meddlings are undoubtedly to blame for most of the movie's weaknesses.)

While Justice League does have many weaknesses, it is, nevertheless, somehow more than the sum of its parts.  It is a consistently entertaining movie that left the audience I saw it with smiling big smiles.

Timing may have hurt it, too, as like Batman v Superman which opened after the superior Captain America: Civil War, Justice League opened just two weeks after the superior Thor: Ragnarok
Brutal Legend is free here

Brütal Legend is a pretty cool game, especially if you're into Heavy Metal; and even if you don't usually listen to it and don't know much about it like myself, you might come to appreciate it for what it is. Featuring voice-acting by Jack Black, Ozzy Osbourne, the late Lemmy Kilmister, Lita Ford, Tim Curry and Jennifer Hale. A lot of fun to play, too, even if the forced RTS elements clash a bit with the open world exploration, but they're few and far between and not that hard to overcome.

GOG currently offers MDK for free.

I've learned that I can no longer create subdomains for free. Hopefully a folder will work acceptably.
