They aren't Forgotten Realms, but I would have loved draconians to have made an appearance with all their innate abilities.

I concur, draconians. Plus all the fun little sea creatures (Sea/Amphi Dragons, Anemones, Eye of the Deep, Sahuagin, etc.)

Oh, and the Tanar'ri from Pools of Darkness. Weird they'd have a Marilith special attack available but no actual Marilith monster to go along with it.

All the monsters from the two Buck Rogers games...because I don't think a single one appeared (for obvious reasons).

Arguably the Carnifern and Jovian Dragon had cameos. ;)

It is kind of funny, when going through the community-made combat icons, to see the Alussis were originally Combat Gennies and the Alussis Queen was an Amalthean Security Robot. Buck's actually a nice source of combat icons that fit in with the prevailing style but aren't that well-known.

The Zombie Mastodon from Death Knights of Krynn.

For all the times a simple Mastodon isn't weird enough as an enemy.

The Undead Beast (I think that's the right name) from the Dragonlance games was pretty cool too, as I remember.

Stirges
Frost Giants

And I seem to recall a Clay Golem in one of the Savage Frontier games.  I LOVE clay golems!

I don't know if I should be correcting Ray Dyer, but: 'twas a Stone Golem.

Clay Golems have the whole thing where you can't heal damage from them unless you're a high level cleric, and that's hard to do in FRUA. I think the closest would probably be Mummy Disease...

Correct away!   ;D

And, I remember it now.  Oddly, it's the same icon in my memory, but the color of it just shifted.  So weird...

The Wyndlass from DQK. I always wondered what this creature really is. A plant? A kind of landbased kraken?
