Yes, it should cause errors, but not "set" anything.

Changing icons is done via the Logic Block, which can be run in a Combat.

If what I suggested does not work, let me know and we'll work on it until it does work. ;)

Changing icons works if you know the name of the character
    Set Icon Index by Name: Gandalf=2 works

Changing icons does not work if you use GPDL functions
    Set Icon Index by Name: $GET_CHAR_NAME($GET_PARTY_ACTIVECHAR())=2  //does nothing
    Set Icon Index by Name: $GET_CHAR_NAME(0)=2                                         //does nothing

Is there a GPDL Function that sets the icon index? Something like "$SET_CHAR_ICON_INDEX(0,2)" to set character index 0 to use icon frame 2?

Your screenshot looks very nice. The color scheme looks more Halloween than Xmas, but just because it is dark, I guess.
We will be happy to play your game regardless ow chiever Holiday it comes out near. ;)

I had hoped to be able to finish Friedrich's Fault until Halloween due to its "halloweenish" background, but I fear that will not work, not enough time for DC these days... :(

Hello, Hans the Hakpak1 and Hakpak2 can be found in UANL34.

 I've been exploring UA Shell off and on, for years and have started many projects that seem to get lost or corrupted by pushing the limits. Been working on my current project for 15 months.

 Thanks, Steve After fiddling with UA Shell managed to edit and combine SCRIPT.GLB and DIFF.TBL and the 'Peekaboo' and 'Give Special Ability' work great with no noticeable side effects. Would have responded sooner but I'm recovering from the flu.
