Something's Cooking

I've just finished playing Jacek (judgedeadd) Dobrzyniecki's new mod "Something's Cooking" (Scooking.zip), which is a nice change of pace from the author of the highly satirical "Batteries Not Included" serial. Jacek is at his most restrained and disciplined in this adaptation of the Andy Collins' p&p adventure. The humor is kept to a natural level for the mildly whimsical premise, and the story is allowed to unfold in an easy, straightforward manner.

It's a light, little mystery roll that makes for a satisfying UA snack. The main monster is one particularly delicious a notion.

Very short, but enjoyable.
My party started with 250 XP and ended up with about 800 XP.
There were thieving opportunities for more XP, but my Paladin forbade it.
