new as of engine 3.25: Firebat crash fixed

There was a really bad script (infinite loops), which now works very well, plus Paul built a new engine that stops looping after 1,000,000.

The new version fof the SAs are attached, along with a newly updated special abilities database and a link to the newest engine is provided below.

You need the border_Compass.png file if you are using the full database.

The new Special Abilities database includes a SpecialGraphics SA which references a file named "border_Compass.png".

I think that this is the reason why I am getting a "General Graphics Error" message in every event, where I would normally see text appear in the text box.

Sorry about that...it is included in the full download of version 3.25. Now, it is also attached to this post. Momentarily it will be with the downloads.

Ok, I have a question... Sorry if I am a bit complicated but I installed full version and couldn't make it work with my old design (maps don't show up).

Then I tried this (DC 3.24 and DC 3.25 updates) and it worked. Now I need just to see what I am missing.

I have downloaded classes.dat from here http://ua.reonis.com/index.php?topic=3620.0 and specialAbilities.dat from this thread and border_Compass.png and it seems to work good (compass works).

Now I am not sure if there is new graphic files in resource folder and shall I install SA_Firebat.txt  and how, and is that all to update fully to newest 3.25 version?

The full package literally has everything you could possibly need. 8)
It has the most up-to-date databases and all of the resources -> they are in the Templatedesign.dsn folder
So, you unzip the package to your favorite DC place. Look in the editor folder to find the TemplateDesign.dsn.
