Aerie of the Slave Lords - spoilers
« on: April 02, 2014, 07:53:31 PM »
Okay I finished but have a few questions.  Who , What or Where was the Ivory Paladin?  Found the Illumination of the rose but never the Ivory Paladin.  And the clues given by the bartender - "Not all who lie may be resting" and "Learn from the knowledge that never dies".  What the heck do those mean?  Other than that there were a few spelling and grammar errors and going through the the dungeon after getting captured by the slave lords with one hit point - seriously?  Had to save a reload - alot.  You couldn't even rest with the Myconids.  Other than that like all the mods I have played of Rays - well done and enjoyable.

SPOILER ALERT

There is a series of clues in Suderham which lead the players to discover the entrance to the tunnels below the city. The "Ivory Paladin" refers to an inn called the "Sign of the White Knight". The ones who lie, but are not resting, are in one of the city's brothels. The knowledge that never dies can be found with a sage in the library. Each clue leads to a place where another clue can be found. Once you find the secret trapdoor, all the clues become pointless.

Um - that is why the word 'spoilers' is in the subject line...

Even though the subject line is spoilers, I still thought I should hide the spoilers in white text.

I didn't even realize there was white test - I thought you were telling me I should have put that.  Sorry - my fault.

I didn't even realize there was white te(x)t...

Depending on the brightness setting on your monitor, if it's on one of the lighter backgrounds, that text can be fairly invisible.   ;)
