There are still many problems with the program that haven't really been addressed yet, but this was a new one for me.

I think I recall my party memorizing spells while I was walking around during my own playtesting.

I defeated all the enemies in the Moathouse 3 times, so I think I've got the combat balance about right. Rather than sprinkle the design with "gain experience" events, I beefed up the XP of the monsters you fight. All characters should be able to advance to level 2. Clerics and Thieves should just hit level 3 at the end of the final encounter.

I think of this design as proof that you can make a complete 1st Edition adventure with DC. There are some bugs that still need to be squished, but version 1.0 is close to completion.

If somebody wouldn't mind putting the spell memorization bug in a different thread, it would be greatly appreciated. :)

I have been playing this one and it looks very nice, though I stoped because I wanted to play a complete version. I havent been playing this adventure nor Temple of Elemental Evil and I hope I will be soon. Currently I am playing FRUA Castle Greyhawk again, and adventure is cool, but it is hard with two characters with only 1hp (thief and a mage), but I am hoping i will get them trough to lv 2 :)

And I finished it, it seems as I killed all in that  ruined castle. But maybe there is something more though it doesn't look like it. I really wish there was something after that main fight in the castle :). Anyway it seems I did it, though with lv 3 characters who were actualy fighting on their own :)

It is still in Playtest mode. The Moathouse Ruins are complete, but the Village is only roughed out.

This is a good design, village is nicely done, only thing that I wish that there were some pointers where is the real adventure and what is it all about :), I actualy just stumbled accidentaly on the road to castle and well there should be some explanations after the fights too :).
