Things seem slow, so here's an animated short, "KAIE and the Phantasus's Giants":

Halloween is still afar off, but I had another dream where I was a vampire that was kinda interesting.

The tone was quite different from my previous dream of being a vampire (which I related here back in Feb 2014).

I was fairer-haired, for one thing.

It was daytime.  I was in a round building.  It was building that was regularly used, perhaps a small school, but there were only two other people in it at the beginning of my dream.  One was a non-vampire woman who was perhaps in her 30's, a bit frumpy, who was something like a personal assistant to me.  The other was a more beautiful woman, somewhat mysterious, whether vampire or human I do not know.  I did know that she was in some sort of trouble.

Before I could talk to her, the building was invaded by a handful of other vampires.  One tough guy wrestled with me while others tried to kidnap the mystery woman.  These vampires were led by a pale, lean gent, also fair-haired, who might even have been my double.

I had a thick, polished, wooden knife that came to a bevel point that I used to stab the vampire who I first fought.  I chased after the others, along a circular corridor that ran through the building, separating inner and outer rooms.  The woman who was my assistant I could hear was being held in a room by another vampire.  And I knew he was waiting in ambush for me to come through the door of that room.  However, I was familiar enough with building to know that there were two doors to that room.  I started the main door swinging open while I ran, almost flying like the wind, to the secondary door, bashing it open and plunging my wooden knife into the surprised vampire.

By this time the other vampires had taken the mystery woman out of the building.  The Sun was out, and I had to protect my flesh from its rays.  Still rushing, I threw on a broad-rimmed black hat and black, woolen coat, leaving only my hands possibly exposed.  My assistant, tho, gave me her multi-colored umbrella as I went through the outer doors, which made me a little silly-looking but which I gladly took.

The leader of the other vampires had taken the mystery woman into a large sedan car.  They were in the back seats, while a vampire driver could also be seen behind its tinted windows.  The car was already on the move, but I raced across a gravelly field to cut it off before it reached the main road.  While running, the Sun's rays hit one of my hands and I almost fell,  The flash of pain was stunning.

Yet, I managed to intercept the car so that we were on a collision course.  I jumped up to hit the windshield feet first, hoping to take out the driver.  However, I almost crumpled against the windshield which must have been reinforced and bullet-proofed.  Spinning, I managed to grab the driver's door handle, but this too resisted my vampire's enhanced strength.  The car was almost a tank!  But, no matter how well-armored, I could still flip it up onto its side, which I did.

The next move was theirs, but this is when I woke up.

Cool, I had such a strong dejavu feeling in Red Cross hotel when I was on my Lifeguard course in a room with 2 mates. It really was amazing, just felt somehow that I was from my dream had same scene before and that somehow I had insight in stream of time from before and it happened.

Anyway I got this and need to learn to use and make things for my DC campaign :) I expect that I will be able to make a lot but with time https://www.daz3d.com/modeling-in-hexagon-fantasy-tower

I should watch also Manikus made 3d tutorials but as I am too busy. I hope that I will do it eventualy, wish I have a good list of all that. Will need to search on the net. Hope to improve my knowledge :)

You can try disabling the optimization features, for a slower, but more compatible display.

You can try setting ''fast transparency", and disabling the OpenGL optimization features, for a slower, but more compatible display.

Thank You very much :) I fixed it thanks to this before few hours https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/48053/installing-hexagon-2-5-on-win7-64bit-for-the-technically-challenged
And I have installed Hexagon on my older lap top and it seems to work at least I can create primitives but I hope it will work. I might be able to create some cool things for DC if I go trough tutorials :)

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is probably the best movie I've seen in theaters in all of 2017.  Tragically, a bad choice of release date crippled its debut in the U.S.

I'd never heard of it before this mention of it.  The effects look good.

It seems to have been skewered on Rotten Tomatoes: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/valerian_and_the_city_of_a_thousand_planets/

**Points for casting Herbie Hancock as the defense minister.  8)

Like the majority of movie-goers, I would speculate.  Partly a problem with the advertising campaign, partly the aforementioned release date.  If you have a movie without a familiar subject, and with no big stars, releasing it smack in the middle of Summer Movie season, it's gonna get overshadowed by the bigger names.

That's one of the best soundtracks ever written IMO.

I believe that his daughter became the youngest BMI member at the time; for writing part of the music for one of the compositions.

(I think it was the flute track, in what was later named "the orgy".)
