Thanks for the comments. I got like one or two dungeons left to do and the module should be complete.

I came up with the name Charon's Rose by making a pun on Rose of Charon. In this adventure, it's the name of a village.

I think I recognize that dwarf! The new backdrops and overland map look very good.

Been a bit busy, but finally getting the last dungeon complete.

For anyone interested, I made the overland map using http://www.stonesword.com/worldmaker.php . For FRUA size maps, set the Resolution to 16, and X 19 Y 8.
The map will end up at an almost perfect dimension of 304x128; you will have to shave 8 pixels off the bottom to get a height of 120.

And a couple more screenshots.

Sent it for upload at the Magic Mirror just now. Module is complete and should be available shortly. Now I have time to play the rest of the One-Week Challenge entries.

Also included these totally-not-palette-swap critters in the mod just because I wanted to have them in, even though they only show up as random encounters in the overland.

Submitted a update, admittedly a very minor bug fix. I mistakenly did not classify the Tasloi as Giant-Class enemies.

I'm enjoying the game very much, Jadefang, but I believe I've stumbled across a major oops

There is a one-way secret door in Dungeon 07, Col 18 Row 10, that opens Northways to Row 9.  Once in that square, however, the party becomes permanently trapped, effectively a game-ender.   :-[

Oh snap, thank you. That door is definitely not supposed to be there.

Is there a proper ending to this design?
I've done all the quests, and explored the three dungeon complexes, but I haven't explored every inch of every dungeon. The Nyx swamp I left as soon as killing the great crocodile, due to the IMO exessive randome encounters?

Also, did you use a hack that prevents Mages from using Slings?

Did you get an invasion when you returned to the village?

Mages not being able to use slings is a result of the 1.3 patch I think.
