I didn't figure that was the intention.   I just wanted you to be aware that your statements could be taken that way (or maybe not, it really would depend on the individual).

Wong Kar Wai's The Grandmaster is playing in limited release (it's subtitled).  It's a beautiful movie from one of the art houses' fave directors.

47 Ronin, starring Keanu Reeves, is a good movie.  It injects mythical fantasy elements into the classic Japanese story.  This also reflects the balance of elements found in TSR's Oriental Adventures (OA).

Unfortunately, it pales considerably in comparison to The Desolation of Smaug, which it is competing against at the box-office.

Wow both movies looks good, Grandmaster and 47 Ronins. Oriental adventures really can look good and be refreshing :) wish i could make some but for now will try playing :D

Yes. It is so bad they have had to subsist on 47 Ramen, as well.
