REVIEW: Hearkenwold II (by Dorateen)
« on: April 28, 2017, 07:32:54 AM »
Hearkenwold II is shorter and a bit less open than its predecessor, with only 5 or 6 outdoor areas to explore and three larger story threads, two of them continuing and partially concluding events from Hearkenwold, and one opening up new possibilities for another sequel. Some of the combat is much more challenging as well, but in the end, after leveling up as much as possible and retrying a few times, I was able to beat even the toughest battles, which was quite satisfying. Some of the rough edges from the first part remain, but it's a very enjoyable follow-up to Hearkenwold, and I had much fun playing through it.
