ProphetSword's Walls

As some of you know, I've been working on a video game in my free time in Unity.  The game has a old-school VGA artwork style, which requires me to create a lot of the artwork that I need for the game.  Some artists from the DC community have been kind enough to donate art to my project, which I fully appreciate.  So, I'd like to return the favor.

Here's a screenshot of my game:


All the walls in the game were made by me.  I want to share these walls with the DC community for use in modules.  Artists can feel free to alter them however they like for use in DC (or FRUA, if anyone wants to convert them).  They are similar in style to the VGA walls used in the Gold-Box games, but aren't as highly detailed as some walls you can find for DC in general.  I know this won't be to everyone's particular tastes.  The pixels are obvious for a reason, as I was trying to capture a the early 1990s era VGA art style.

Hopefully someone can get some use out of them.  I will warn you that I have not tested these in DC...so if someone uses them, please post some screenshots so I can see how they worked out for you.

First set of walls are just called "Blue Walls."

Now for the "Cave Walls" that were shown in the screenshot above.  The dungeon bars are transparent.  Hopefully, they look as good in DC as they do in my project.

"Stone Walls"

One of the passageways has a dark background, the other is transparent in the back and semi-transparent at the bottom, and should show through whatever is behind it or under it.  Not sure how that will work out in DC, but in my project, it makes it appear to be a gateway that has grass on the other side and shaded grass underneath.

Final set (for now, anyway) - "Weathered Wood"  Includes interior stairwells that go up and down.

These walls are great! I think they fit particularly well with Uatu's style thanks to the early-VGA style! I think it is good that the walls are not showing too many details, by  the way.
It would be great to have a few fitting floors/ceilings, do you intend to do this?

I noticed that some of these didn't translate well with the WallGen tool for some reason.  So, I'm also going to give you guys the original 512x512 tile images I used in my game.  This will help if anyone wants to alter them for their own use.

I'll have to split it across several messages...
