Dhost.info closing (closed) down 11/15/2017

Just in case others have not noticed yet - but Dhost.info (where many of our sites lie) has closed down!

There is still time to save your stuff (via FTP), but the web part seems to already have died (I cannot access my site anymore).

(I feel a bit of responsibility here, since I found the site in the first place - but now is the time to find a new home for my (our) sites, I guess!).)

If anyone has any ideas, I would be quite interested to know!

It may not be ideal; but, I'm willing to provide FTP details and space on my server. Similar to what you see here: http://manikus.reonis.com/ Let me know if you're interested in this as an alternative.

Is there any preset layout we would need to use, or could we just re-upload our homepages to your server? Are there any space limits (at Dhost.info, it was 100 MB I think)?

No space limits or preset layouts. For some that may be a disadvantage; but, you simply upload your files into a folder as appropriate versus using a template and populating that. If you send me a PM with what your subdomain should be, that's the bit before reonis.com in the example for manikus above, I'll set it up and PM you the credentials.

I've learned that I can no longer create subdomains for free. Hopefully a folder will work acceptably.

It would be great if the links could be updated.
