 |sf>I just thought I'd point out that there are one or two FRUA modules (based on published pen & paper campaigns) in French, because I remember playing one years ago with my French/English dictionary in hand.

¿No hay nadie aquí quién habla español nativo? ¡Que lastima!

E dove sono i miei altoparlanti Italiani?

 ;D Nice one!

There are 10 kinds of people in the world.
Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
Some days it just doesn't pay to gnaw through the straps.

English (New Zealand), it's so exhausting haven to choose English (Australia) due to words getting changed to poool, or fush'n'chups, or beached as bro.

My apologies, Simeon Pilgrim! I created a new option specifically for you.  ;)

Beats me why I hadn't thought of it, I actually like the New Zealand-ish (?) pronounciation.

So..uh..with this list, I imagine we *could* see some UA mods translated?  Or at least feature other languages, n'est pas?
Bit of a late response here; only just fpund this thread...

Does anyone have a short mod they've made in American English that they would like translated into Australian English?

How would that be different, apart from characters saying "no worries" every third sentence?

Well, you'd replace "color" with "colour" and "flavor" with "flavour". Really, the lack of difference was part of my (too subtle) point. They're really not different languages.

But I was also kind of thinking that it could be more humorous, too, with everyone saying "G'day" instead of hello, and calling you "mate" and, like you suggest, saying "no worries" (perhaps ever with the occasional "no wuckers") - that sort of thing. There is heaps of Australian idiom to draw on. (In fact I think that use of the word "heaps" might be a mainly South Australian thing.)

Someone could try Cockney slang, although there could be a Stewart Granger of alot of Captain Kirk involved.
ASCII characters have fried my brain...  going to take it easy with a Captive remake.
