I have made two example screenshots of what I am doing: I set Entry Markers (e.g. "ComHLGiE0") and use Destination Action: Go to Marker to get to these Markers inside the same event chain.
As written above, it works fine as long as the player does not jump too often between the markers.

Indeed, this should not cause a problem.  A mini-mod
would allow me to fix this, I am rather sure.

Did you find the uploaded version in the post above, Paul and Manikus? I just saw it was not yet downloaded...

Concerning the challenge: I used 6 days so far, I will try to finish this on Friday or Saturday, but I guess I will need two additional days instead of one, as mentioned in the other thread. The combat system needs quite a lot of testing, even with the great FlowControl event...

I should perhaps have started with a "one-month challenge". :D

I am patience in person - I only realized that my post with the uploaded design was quite unspecific and that it would not be visible that I uploaded s.th. without logging in.
Thus I mentioned it...  ;)

As I wrote, I will find no time anyway during the coming days for continuing with the design, and the problem is rather minor. I can only expres again how thankful I am that you put so much effort in DC at all!

I hope you could keep the disasters under control!

Dinoykos you've done more than I have done with the 1 week challenge. I did not start mine. I had a few real life issues which impacted me (due to budget, been workin extra shifts, but dad in the hospital was the major one) but I am going to see if I cannot get something done in a week. Will set an official start date here shortly.

ps -- the "rules" were more of a guideline that is supposed to challenge yourself than a full fledged contest. The "winners" are the players who got a surge of mods created

It works fine concerning the combat, Paul, but something else went wrong:
The Screenshots below are both from the same position in game, 6a is from version 239, 6b is from version 279. There is a graphic error in the center of the 3d viewport. I could imagine it has something to do with the changes you made concerning wall handling between 239 and 279..

I do not yet understand why the graphic error occurs at that spot...

EDIT: I found additional graphic errors for other walls, but it seems that in all cases only the most distant walls are not working perfectly.

That problem is undoubtedly due to the changes
I made to allow multiple graphic formats for a single
wall location.  It could very well be that I missed
one or more pieces of code that needed to be
updated.

I suspect user error.  Something to do with the
specification of wall formats in 'config.txt'.  I am
rather ignorant of this mechanism.  I bet Manikus
can tell us right off the top of his head what is wrong.

Well, the seventh day has come and I fear that I will really need another. One reason for that is that I am already playtesting a lot, but this is necessary to make sure that the insult-based combat works acceptable.

Sorry to disappoint, but I have no idea what the graphic glitch may be. This is a new one for me.

Assuming that the same wall and same config format are in use, it must be an engine thing. My first thought, based on nothing other than it was the first thing to pop into my head was that it might have something to do with 5 distant walls versus 7 distant walls, but only a guess.

Well, it looks like the upper left 16x19 pixel of Slot A are depicted instead of Slot P, but only for a few walls. I will check if I can find a pattern (it seems like only a few wall slots are affected, while others work). As you implied, I did not change anything in the config file or concerning my walls and only use one wall format.

By the way, I just managed to finish the design - so I did it within 7 days. BUT I am sure that there are quite a lot bugs around and I am also not sure if the Flow Control event really works or if I made some minor mistakes. I will check that during the coming days.
