Both layouts are great - the second would surely fit well with exploring buildings... Reminds me that I should also do new frames for my next design.

Thank you. Knowing myself, I might just change it again somewhere along the line hehehehe. *sigh*

Thank you, Milos. I'm very happy that it looks good, at least. Now I just have to try and make sure it not a total bore to play...

I'm currently working on the Westfork market, setting up market stall and goods renders. I'll post the end results... If I am successful...

A quick test of the produce market stall, the first of many....

I think I'll have to add some shadows, though. Just need to experiment to make them look good.

Nice screenshots. :)

Shading and shadows certainly help with the realism factor and to tie things together. But if you give shadows to one ting, you have to give shadows to everything.

Yes, you definitely have a point there. I think that, for now, I'll just focus on getting everything together first,  and maybe add some graphical adjustments at a later stage when I'm satisfied with the state of the game (if needed)

Yes, the stall and the tree both look great. The high resolution does somehow have the effect that, because of the detail it seems harder to suspend disbelief when things don't look quite realistic.

Not sure if I understand what you mean, Steve... isn't this the default, lowest DC resolution?

Of course, I agree that the looks are great.

My thanks to both of you.
Yes, I do agree that working on more realistic looking art for the game is a bit of a hit / miss situation. Currently I like the way the pieces look, but without ground shadows they just look like paper cutouts stuck onto the backdrop.
Walls and other "flat" objects shouldn't be a problem, but things like the market stalls and other free-standing outdoor objects can only benefit from some shadows.
I am trying to make this an enjoyable module, but also make it visually appealing. I just need to try and strike the right balance between the two....
