I am looking for some inspiration for quest types for my game. Not deep, brilliant quests like the ones found in large games (e.g. solve a murder, liberate a country via political intrigue, get rid of some azure tattoos), but the simple kind you give as side quests to keep people playing and having fun.
I currently have basic ones: get the treasure, kill the big bad, clear the map, explore the map.
I have three more types planned:
a) escape after being dumped into a dungeon by a portal, trap, capture event etc
b) get in item (variations: for the party, for an employer, deliver item to person, get parts and assemble)
c) rescue person/people and escort them to safety
That's not much, really. Any advice?
