Attention all gnolls

I'm still looking for gnoll pics.

If you have any that are not on the UA image gallery, please post them here. Any help would be appreciated.  :)

Hm, that's tough. Here's what I could come up with today. Not perfect but hopefully you can at least use one of these. Me, I like the last one best, although the colors are still a little dull.

Thank you very much, Olivier!  :)

The first two were already in my "artwork for the sect", thread, but I think your version of "gnoll 2" looks way better than mine.

The last two pics are new to me. Thanks a great deal!

I eliminated the white background on gnoll no.2.

This one is now hotly tipped to become my new standard gnoll pic...

Nice. I wish I could remove white backgrounds that easily. Well, I probably could using GIMP or something but I'm too lazy to figure that program out... ;)

I just filled the background with black and then darkened the edges of the gnoll, so that the foreground wouldn't stand out too much.

The more hair or other details there are, the harder it gets. With the DiTerlizzi gnoll pic, I just failed because of all the facial hair.  :D

Sorry, Ben, I didn't know you wanted gnoll pics. Here are a couple.

Is there any particular setting or activity you're looking for, or just a generic selection?

Two nice pics, thanks, nologgie!  :)

The thing with the gnolls is a bit complicated in my game... I'd need them as a portrait, weapon preferably not visible, a bit menacing, but not too menacing...

It's hard to describe, but I don't want to completely spoil the gnoll bit (which is a side-quest in the game, anyway).

Basically, there are going to be two pictures in the game: Standard gnoll and gnoll chief (the chief can look a bit more individualistic).

And maybe there's a third one, but it's pretty absurd... I wrote an appearance of gnoll character with a rather unusual profession. And then I found a depiction of a gnoll doing just that. It was completely weird.  :o
But the conversion is not entirely satisfying, and I'll probably need the slot for another pic. I think I'll present it after the game is released.

@ Manikus - Good idea on the gnoll pic-pack. All we'll need is someone to sweep up and organize the carnage!  :D  In the spirit of generating said carnage, here are some more.

@ Ben, I know you must be out of big pic slots, but I threw one in just because.

Some of these gnolls look like werewolves almost (I'm thinking the big pic and the others in that post). They're cool looking though. :)

Could be some of them suffer from a touch of lycanthropy...

Even a gnoll who is pure in heart,
and says his prayers by night,
may become a wolf,
when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright.

Astute observations, gentlemen!  ;)

But I wonder, do were-chickens eat eggs for breakfast?

Gnolls seem to have gone from a mostly wolf-like appearance to more hyena-like through the revisions. (They were always described as hyena-like, but usually portrayed as wolf-like.)

My last post for the evening is a version from Legend of Norrath (I think), and it looks more canine to me.

Well, here's two pics from my recent artpack, and 4 pics from an artpack not yet released...
