I've tested the "green" wallset, and the colors look great now, and the walls appear correctly in all five slots!  :)

I'm only slightly irritated by the lines dividing the walls: They only appear when the player faces the walls, and they seem to become thicker when you move further away.

I haven't played TSF, so I can't say if the walls looked like that in the game as well.

Yay! I'm gld they work. Maybe I'm finally getting the hang of doing stuff for FRUA (after how many years?).

The problem I was having was a very weird one - the copy protection was back on (somehow) and no matter what I did, I could not remove it. This was very odd since I had just copied the directory off of my home system (everything works fine on it) and had already used it in Linux (also everything worked fine). Eventually Rob Morfin's HackCKIT saved the day.

As for the lines at the side of the walls, that was exactly how it looked in TSF. It's also really noticeable with the "House" wallset.

Yup, and with the blue walls it's actually reversed: You see the lines when you pass by the walls, but not when you're facing them.  :-\
Don't know what purpose these lines are serving anyway.

I've tested all four wall sets now (will you also do complete sets of the remaining walls?).

The second type of red walls and the blue walls are working fine, but the house walls are having some problems:

Damn palettes! Or should I say damn text editors that don't show line numbers? ;)

I will fix the "House" walls and re-upload them. I will also try and put the other walls into sets, but they will not likely work in just four more...all the water walls will work together and the grey/mausoleum walls work together, but I have some decisions to make for the rest.
I will post these as I finish them. I will stick them into FRUA first, too. :)

My apologies to palettes and text editors - the "House" error is all on my. :)

Here are the two offending files for slots 0 and 1.

I'd love to use all the walls and backdrops here in a module I'm working on. Has anyone managed to put all the walls into a working 8x8 file that can be easily downloaded?  If not, would someone do that if they have time?  I'd rather just throw the whole group in there and go (I haven't done any hack work in years, and I'm terrible at it).  Same with backdrops.

For that matter, I wouldn't care if someone created a mix and match of Gold-Box style walls and backdrops together that could be added to a module.  I really want an "old school" feel to the module I'm doing.

If anyone can do this, I would be most appreciative.

I'm currently away from home and don't have access to my FRUA and graphic tools. If these walls are still missing from the wallset sticky, would someone else be so kind to take care of it for Ben? I'll add the new GB style walls then once I'm back. Just think about it, we might get a new module from him in exchange!!!  :)

I think there isn't a single zip archive that collects all of the walls and backdrops from "Treasures" yet. Most of it is on this thread.

Edited to add: A new Ben S. mod? Yay!  :hello2:

That's kind of why I was hoping someone would be willing to throw them together into a usable form.  I have a hard time with those kinds of things.  Don't ask me why.

I don't have a lot of time, but I'll see what I can do.

It could take a couple of days, though.

No rush or anything.  I just want to be able to drop them into the module if I want to use them without having to muck about with needing to hack them in.

Same with the backdrops, if anyone has those.

But, nobody should go out of their way or anything.  I was just asking if someone had time to do it.

In what format do you need these, Ben?

Would drop-in TLBs (as in Olivier's wall archive) be okay?

Here's the file TSF_TLB.zip

It contains the four TSF wallsets from this thread:

8X8D1005 is the GREEN wallset, configured to go into the first BRICKS slot

8X8D1006 is the (fixed) HOUSE wallset, configured to go into the first CAVE slot

8X8D1013 is the BLUE wallset, configured to go into the first CORAL A slot

8X8D1014 is the RED wallset, configured to go into the first CORAL B slot

If you need the walls for other slots than the ones configured here (I think you will), rename the files according to Olivier's FAQ sticky.

Olivier, if you're reading this: The files are ready to be added to the wall archive.
